Wanna be a lion?
This was the quote of the day yesterday... Aris was supposed to dress up to be a big roaring lion at the Mommy Group Halloween picnic yesterday. Well he kept saying he wanted to be a lion but everytime I asked him, " YOU WANNA BE A LION?" and pulled the costume out he would freak out and scream " No NO NO!" and throw himself to the floor in a rage. Avery was a little green frog and Andy and I dressed up as Black Eyed Peas... Apparently this was a big hit ( clever was the word he used..) the last time Andy dressed up as a pea ( both colored black eyes on our faces and then wore a prominent letter "P" on our shirts. Well no one really "got it." I've decided that maybe Andy needs to retire the "Black Eyed Pea" idea and move on to something a little more " clever" next year.. at least we get an "A" for effort!
I need to post some of my new quilting blocks this week- it's been too long! I made a few more this past week and can't wait to start putting this thing together. Not sure how it's going to come out exactly but I am sure no matter how bad it looks, it will be a legend in the Burcham household for years to come...

We went through that faze. Alec wouldn't even go near a mask for years. This year we can't get him to take off his Incredibles outfit.
I'd LOVE to see the quilt and haven't had time to send you an email, but we had a HUGE fabric collection for you this weekend...you'll be amazed!
